And I may have not noticed all of the updates, the game looked decent when I had it, yet it was only 7 months old !So, if you have the spirit of a creative child, the rage of a WW2 pilot or the audacity of a stunt driver, then go ahead and buy it ! Pros and Cons

Brick Rigs is a game about building and messing around with LEGO vehicles. They can’t use the name for legal reasons, but we all know the truth. So cutting to the chase, would I recommend it? Yes. But there are a few things worth noting. Let’s get into it.

Pros:

1. Core gameplay is fun and well executed
2. Destroying LEGO creations never gets old, and you can use a rocket launcher to boot.
3. Steam workshop integration to share and download creations
4. Surprisingly good graphics and world physics
5. Intuitive menus and easy to learn controls
6. Really big maps to mess around on
7. Can slow down and speed up time as you please

Cons:

1. 1. Lacking in content and polish, given that it’s Early Access
   2. Not great for multiplayer, although the option to play with friends does exist.
   3. Trains tend to derail pretty often which can get annoying.
   4. Building on the point above, the lack of a checkpoint or save state system hinders your ability to explore with your creations. You will almost always crash before you get far.
   5. Character models feel like cheap placeholders, and there’s no way to customize them or your gear, beyond selecting a job like Police Officer or Firefighter.
   6. There’s a zombie killing mode, which is cool, but it’s barebones right now. It could be really great in the future though. I’m thinking like LEGO Call of Duty Zombies, but that might be setting the bar too high.
   7. This last one is my opinion and could be seen as a Pro, but you can place bricks inside of other bricks. This allows for more unique designs as well as more compact designs, but goes against the spirit of LEGOs/brick building games.

Bricks are designed to connect to other bricks. That’s the whole point. If I can make something in a game, I should be able to take real bricks and make it in real life. It also leads to glitchy, overlapping textures in some cases, which is annoying to look at.

This is Quite possibly the best game on steam for 15.00$. You download vehicles people have made (or make your own (it is a bit frustrating at first but you get the hang of it after a while), blow things up, and have fun! Plus, it is multiplayer with no rules or restrictions, so you can roleplay, make up your own games to do with friends, and so much more! A must play for anyone who likes to share their creativity or play with friends. Heads up: like I mentioned earlier, the building system is difficult to pick up on/use. First thing I’m gonna say is: I love this game. It’s fun to mess around in, it’s fun to build, and it’s helped me make a lot of great friends. But I can’t recommend this game. I love it, I can’t stress that enough. But I doubt you will. The developer won’t give us a changelog. He won’t listen to the community, and, oh the community. What a pile of rubbish it is! They have this insane idea that, when someone like me and a group of friends suggests something AS MINUTE AS A CHANGELOG, they go bat****. They say “he isn’t your slave”, “He can do what he wants”, and **** like that. I am sorry, but I just cannot stand it. We give a suggestion, and they dogpile on us. The moderators slander us, the community accuses us of spamming dislikes on anything on the front page (despite the fact that it happened to us as well, and that moderators can check that ****, but instead they sit on their lazy ***es and endorse the toxicity to anyone who disagrees).
