Though some of the Nancy Drew games are starting to show their age, most are remembered fondly as genuinely scary games. With a total of 33 games, Her Interactive has explored many genres in their Nancy Drew games: comedy, horror, suspense, thriller, fantasy, and of course mystery.
Honestly, I will admit that we know nothing new about this mysterious game. We know nothing of the games title, what the game is about, and we have no idea whether or not the game is even in production since HeR haven't talked much about the progress of the game or that if it is even in production. So all we can really due is speculate what this game will be about until HeR announces something, which I will jump on the second it gets announced!
What we do know is that HeR has said in previous press release is that they are creating a back log of games so that they can get back into release games in consistent intervals. Can I find the letter to the fans stating this... sadly no as it seems that all of these letters to their fans have just vanished. The only articles I seem to find are just simple announcements which do not discuss what HeR is planing on doing moving forward. I think the only thing we do know for a fact is that HeR is working on the next game. On Reddit, someone shared a screenshot of Little Jackalope replying to a fan saying that the next game is in the works. However, how much they have completed and what they are working on now is still a mystery.
Now, with all the true facts out of the way, we can only go back and look at all the rumors we do know! In my previous post, Nancy Drew Game #34 Teased, I have pretty much discussed where HeR might take the game which focuses on the game possibly taking place in Austria because of the pervious games hints. As well as a Ned joining Nancy in her next case. However, this story hint is only a theory and with that I chose to look at other possible game idea with Daniella (The Little Book Spy) to determine what other storyline could HeR choose from the yellow back books.
In my Story Idea's for Nancy Drew Game 34, we look at all the possible ideas of what the next game could be based upon looking at the yellow books. Since there are so many books, the number of stories that could chosen are endless. So I would highly recommend checking out that post so you can see all the wonderful story ideas we looked at.
