The Nintendo Wii is a popular home video game console developed by the company. It hit the market on November 2006. It’s the seventh-generation of Nintendo consoles that had similar features as Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 had. The greatest benefit of this version is a variety of innovative features. It had convenient and responsive controllers, a hardcore processing unit and a super graphic display. Thanks to all these options, the gaming experience was more immersive. The Wii included the Remote controller, which could perform two actions simultaneously: it was used as a handheld pointing device in games and the tool that could detect movements in three dimensions. This achievement also provided players with an opportunity to use absolutely different Nintendo accessories. All in all, the Nintendo Wii was much more than the most popular game console; it saturated the whole market and had more users than Xbox and PS2.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a side-scrolling platform video game published and developed by Nintendo for the Wii. It is the first game in the Mario main series since the Mario Bros. arcade game to feature simultaneous multiplayer gameplay, and the first title to include Nintendo's new 'Super Guide' feature. The game’s plot is similar to those of other side-scrolling Mario games. New Super Mario Bros. Wii follows Mario as he fights his way through Bowser’s henchmen to rescue Princess Peach. Mario has access to several power-ups that help him complete his quest, including the Ice Flower, the Fire Flower, and the Starman, each giving him unique abilities. While traveling through up to nine worlds with a total of 88 levels, Mario must defeat Bowser's children, the Koopalings and Bowser Jr., and Bowser himself before finally saving Princess Peach.

  • Use Direct3D11 Backend and JITL recompiler for highest possible performance.
  • To get animated coins, enable 'EFB Copies' to 'RAM', set 'Texture Cache' to the middle, and turn on 'Cache Display Lists'. Make sure that 'OpenMP Texture Decoder' is disabled (it oddly halfs performance with this game in DX11). You will likely have to turn your internal resolution down to 1x or 1.5x for full speed.
  • To increase the resolution without decreasing performance, disable EFB Copies or set them to Texture. Rotating coins and animated textures will no longer be animated.
