Mister Negative is the villain role in the game who decides to take New York under control by holding power over the underground criminal world. Spider-Man (the player) must find a way to restrict Mister Negative from taking New York under his control. Plot:
The storyline kicks off as Davis, the police head officer of NewYork, is awarded his duty on a re-election event. The Inner Daemons appear out of nowhere and takes illicit assets of Fisk under their possession. Peter Parker, the Spider-Man, witnesses Martin Li transform into Inner Daemons’ leader, also known as Mister Negative. Peter Parker gets knocked out before he plays his role and stops Li from snatching important and lethal assets.
As the story unfolds further, Peter Parker finds that ‘Devil’sBreath’ is a lethal bioweapon that was created by Oscorp, in an attempt to make a cure for a genetic disease: and that, Mister Negative is after the very bioweapon. However, Mister Negative manages to get his hands on the only sample of Devil’s Breath and threatens New York city by asking Oscorp to surrender its expertise and work focus to Mister Negative.
